Asics Gel Nimbus 12 are light but durable and have a wide footprint that provides a very good grip on wet, muddy terrain. They have an innovative lace design where the laces run slightly to the left of the shoe which alleviates pressure on the top of the foot. This, coupled with the fact that Asics shoes tend to be slightly wider than other brands, makes for a comfortable fit. Suitable for on-road and off-road terrain in all weather conditions, Asics is the brand of choice for the more serious runner. If you run 20+ miles per week, ignore inferior fashion brands (Nike, Adidas etc.) and go for Asics. Also, I would suggest these are worn with Hilly Twin Skin anklet socks for the perfect fit...By Asics Gel Nimbus 12: Recommended
