I really can't comment on its durability because it's so new (and was a gift) and it really doesn't have any education value (but doesn't deserve to have a lower score because it's an action figure). My son bought this for his friend as a birthday gift. They're both major Halo fans and are collecting the figures. My son liked it so much that he's currently saving to buy his own Carter. Like I said I can't comment on their durability or how they taste but I can tell you that it was a happily received gift for one 13 year old and is something my own 13 year old is pining for, after seeing it and holding it (after his friend opened it).
