Very happy overall with product. Did lots of homework before purchase and this seemed to be a firm favourite with others. The price was good from Amazon at £320 which included all the uk at 1:50. I have since gone on to purchase a custom map at 1:25, in my opinion the maps are a little on the pricey side. The best GPS accuracy i have achieved is 9ft. There is lots of techy stuff on it which i will probably never use but its there if you need it. Sometimes its difficult to pinpoint your position (trail up)when several public footpaths meet as when you stop walking the map moves around quite a bit,however if you do take the wrong direction you can soon get back on track. I feel that when zoomed in the image quality could be a lot better as it goes quite grainy. Its best to take the unit out and have a good mess with in order to get to grips with it remembering to have a look at the instuctions from time to time!! I have used SAT SYNC and viewed the walks i have taken(on map/google earth) however i find it a little confusing inporting and feel it could be more user friendly. You can lock the unit(double click on/off button)which is not clear in the instructions unless i have misread it. Best advice i can give is to get out walking and press all the buttons and see what happens!!! Screen covers soon break on the retaining clips i have found. Good tip-Mind you dont catch the toggle button before locking the unit as it will go into planning mode, However this is easy to see as the blue circle turns orange and all you need to do is press the 'map' button, (left button).
