I have fired it about 25 times so far. The first 6 shots were very loud as the oil burned out from inside the barrel. After that the usual quiet "thunk" you expect from an air rifle. It appears to be an excellent quality rifle. It is made in China though, so we shall see....By Phantom 1000X air rifle review
